How RealtorZip prices, verifies, matches, and measures
The product is simple, but the evidence behind it should remain transparent. This page separates public data, commercial pricing, professional verification, current availability, matching rules, and sampled visibility so users do not have to guess what a label means.
ZIP identity and baseline context
RealtorZip begins with the approved Ready APIs curated-us-zips dataset under CC BY 4.0 for ZIP, city, state, county, coordinates, population, region, and available aggregate demographic context. The dataset incorporates attributed upstream sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, USPS, SimpleMaps, and OMB. Postal ZIPs and Census ZIP Code Tabulation Areas are related but not identical, so each market page identifies the geography and source rather than implying a perfect boundary.
Housing and market information
The baseline ZIP record can contain a published median-home-value and rent estimate. Approved live APIs or official imported research datasets may provide a fresher value or an additional market observation. Each displayed metric should retain its publisher, geography, period, freshness, and attribution. No ZIP-level value is presented as an appraisal, listing price, comparative market analysis, or forecast for a particular property.
Commercial position pricing
Each ZIP is assigned to a $50, $75, or $100 monthly position band using RealtorZip's published commercial policy applied to the available median-home-value input. Every supported ZIP has ten numbered positions. Inventory, temporary checkout holds, activation, cancellation, and concurrent purchases are enforced by the transaction and database layers. The price band does not change the verification, publishing, matching, visibility, or referral value included with a position.
Professional verification
An agent can submit identity, brokerage, license, service-area, language, specialty, availability, and profile information. Public verified status requires review. The verification record distinguishes submitted information from evidence-approved claims and retains review status, timestamps, evidence digests, expiry, dispute, correction, and revocation state.
Current availability
Availability is a time-bounded statement with a source, status, remaining capacity, response-time estimate, and expiration. An unavailable or expired agent is excluded from current matching even when an older public profile still exists.
RealtorZip matching priority
When a buyer or seller submits a consented request, RealtorZip first checks verified participants with at least one active position in the requested ZIP. Specialty, language, intent, property type, timing, availability, response readiness, and other verified fit signals can determine the match. Buying additional positions does not increase the agent's rank inside the eligible group. Payment establishes participation eligibility; it does not establish objective superiority.
AI visibility sampling
When enabled, RealtorZip submits a controlled set of public search questions through an approved search or AI interface and stores the exact question, returned answer, citations, competing names, surface, model, and timestamp. The report shows whether the target identity appeared in those samples. A sample is an observation—not a permanent or universal rank, and not a guarantee that another query or platform will return the same answer.
Consumer referrals and outcomes
A consented buyer or seller request may be shared with a matched participating agent or verified referral partner for the purpose of responding to the request. RealtorZip may record delivery, response, representation, closing, and satisfaction outcomes when available and permitted. No match, representation agreement, transaction, closing, or revenue outcome is guaranteed.
What RealtorZip does not claim
RealtorZip does not own ZIP codes, control MLS systems, certify that a paid participant is the best agent, guarantee a lead or closing, or guarantee placement in ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Bing, or another independent answer system.
